They’re playing at Club de Golf Chapultepec where PGA Tour played WGC from 2017-2020 & has hosted the Mexico Open 18 times

only Bryson could miss a green from a greenside bunker to find the courses imperfections

begs the question, does the PGA want this bum back?

This video in no way begs the question if the PGA wants him back

Not everything is a big deal. You think other players wouldn't complain about that? I'm sure they would, and like Bryson, forget about it a minute later. Not every 15 second clip needs to be broken down like it's some big issue.

While I don't disagree that big-time events should provide a nearly perfect course....

The guy has become insufferable.

I think the question it begs is - After his performance at ANGC and this, am I (a 15 HC) a better greenside bunker player than Bryson DeChambeau?

The answer is definitively, in this moment - maybe?

It’s always funny to me how unlikeable he is when his team of YouTube editors can’t control the video.

They should honestly make more courses like this to penalize guys for bad drives.

With so many courses having less trees now, a lot of the risk/reward has been taken out of the game at most courses. Guys just want to hit it as far as they can for the most part.

Same course. One event is when you had the PGA running things on the ground and helping get everything ready. One event is with LIV “helping” prep the course.

Not sure this is the pro-LIV defense you think it is.

It’s literally information, not defending anything bud but you sure didn’t miss a chance to make it a criticism

just to clarify, it was a WGC event. It was sanctioned as a PGA Tour event (as well as a DP World Tour event) but it was run by the International Federation of PGA Tours, not the PGA Tour

And not to defend LIV but there are plenty of stops on the PGA Tour that have dead areas like that. TPC Southwind, which has been a host spot for both WGC events and now the FedEx Cup playoffs, has had plenty of years where the course conditions were pretty shitty. Oddly enough, that is the site of Bryson's famous request for a ruling on an ant hill

Isn't that where he made a 10 and the cameras caught him counting his score on his fingers?

I watched some of today round and that course is on par of the worse public course you can think of. City Park back in the 80,s was 10 times better than what I saw.

There are large dirt patches in the fairways and on the green fringes. A ball was lost off the side of the green and no one could find it. It did not go on the water.

It is shocking that what I saw today was a pro tournament and pro broadcast.
