She’s got some other issues related to one of her staffers being on the board of a real estate developer who got preferential treatment on a Riviera Beach development bid. The FBI was down here sniffing around a few weeks back. Some sort of kickback scheme which may have involved her campaign finances IIRC

If she doesn't 1) go to prison and 2) pay the money back, then the whole exercise of having stolen it will have been a win for her, and encouragement for the next her.

Without them, this will undoubtedly just keep happening.
If the punishment for embezzling millions of dollars from your employer is merely losing your job, that's the wrakest punishment imaginable.
Prosecute to the full extent of the law, adding every possible affix (premeditation, aggravated, grand, RICO, etc.) to the charges and maximum sentences to ensure these people rot in an 8×8 until expiration.
