All the Nola and north BR “scholars” who got into Ivy and Ivy adjacent schools with unremarkable academic records due to AA will now go to LSU

It was hyperbole. LSU admits some very weak students who don't last more than a semester.
The kid from North BR who is accepted to Johns Hopkins probably still has a 3.5 GPA and decent test scores. Is he qualified for Johns Hopkins or Tulane? No, but he's a solid enough student for LSU.

LSU has a +70% admittance rate, not gonna change much. Its main song is STTDB and Bitch Im from LA. Not exactly Cal Tech here…
