I had to euthanize a possum that was hit the other day. Its back was broken and it was dragging itself across a field with its front legs. Gave me the sads for a while.

Driving to town and on the side of the highway a truck was parked with his flashers on. Right in front of his truck was a deer that had been hit but was still alive. shite like that pisses me off. Don't think the truck there hit it, I think the guy was trying to either kill it or waiting for DWF to. We have a large deer presence in the woods around town. They know there safe from guns, but not from cars and trucks.

Some of numerous and fattest vultures I have seen is in TX Hill country. Deer carcasses are more than a few.

yup, I hate seeing an animal suffer. If you aren't capable of handling it at least call the cops or something instead of driving off.
