Yorke (transfer), Caraway (transfer), Simpson (transfer), Garcia (transfer). Can we add more?

Caraway was ruled out for the Friday injury report I saw it as well on here someone posted. Not saying he is good just saying poster was correct.

I mean a lot of transfers have been bad, but why several of our non transfers are continuously off the hook from some of y’all I don’t get.

Maybe they win if Yorke played; we’ll never know.

You can leave Pearson out of this bud. There’s a bunch of names you could have listed , he ain’t one of them. When people whine about Carraway is “hurt” your only guy holding down 3rd is Pearson and has had some clutch hits.

He’s certainly had clutch hits. He’s also batting .236 and went literally hitless this weekend. That’s not good lol. Not a knock on him there is a host of others. The point is many have had struggled. In fact everyone not named Curiel, Brown, Schmidt, and maybe Sheerin have been plain bad a significant portion of the season.

Who you putting at third then? Since I’ve just realized that Carraway is hurt?

I think Pearson will be a big bat for us next year. But I also agree with your first point. Pearson has like a sub .900 fielding percentage.

Let’s just be real, other than Cooper, Jay has missed on what he relies on winning CWS

If the premise of the thread is pointing out that the transfers suck and a poster pointed out that non transfers have been playing poorly as well, I agree. It’s not just transfers.

I’m putting Pearson at third. My comment was not a suggestion of who should play where. It was just a comment that the rant has targeted a select few all season when there are many more who have been just as bad. Pearson sticks at third. I just hope he cleans up his rough at bats the rest of the way. He has very good potential. Just a lot of swing and miss right now and needs to change his approach.

True.....but he also strikes out consistently on balls down and away off the plate when batting with RISP. Especially if they are on 3rd. I called it on Friday. Said "he will swing at a high fastball above his head" and he did. Then, "now down and away to strike him out" and they did. If I see that, then surely opposing pitchers do too. He has been terrible with RISP

Yep his at bats are very predictable. When the pitcher lays one in there he can hit it a mile. But competitive at bats is where he falls short. It feels like every deep count ends in him swinging out of the zone. Just something he’s gotta work on.
