honestly think only one. Won’t take much for the TAF and donors to really give JJ the cash he wants and honestly we didn’t miss on everyone we think “sucks” right now. Some of these kids just need reps to get better and they’ll start to shine.

Won’t lose many off our pitching staff. Transfer portal. We’ll be back. Same thing happened in 2023 and we won the nattie a year later. Not claiming we’ll win a nattie but we won’t be this bad.

Looking at the roster, there are a lot of young players. The portal was a huge miss. I trust Jay to prioritize what he needs. The season will end earlier than last year and he can get a head start on the top portal players that fit his scheme.

Overall, yes it does. But there’s some decent pieces to work with. If Evans and Schmidt improve (don’t see how they wouldn’t) they can be a very dangerous 1-2 punch. Then hopefully fill in with portal guys. Not saying it’s a given, but possible. I’d say lineup is more worrisome than pitching.
