Why are some of you posters so quick to make generalizations on the season?

If they win tomorrow, at least it’s half way to 14 wins. If not, they’ll have to do better the second half. But that’s not far fetched. They’d need to go 2-1 in the 3 home series and 1-2 in the 2 away series. That would take them to 14-16. They can do that, and they’re in the regional, where anything happens. If they don’t win the whole thing, then ok. It’s unrealistic to think you’d win it all every year or even make Omaha. Venting after every loss just brings down the whole board, imo. Chill and let it play out.

Look at the remaining conference schedule. USCe is the only likely series win, and even that's not a given.

Agree that’s the only easy game, but at least the hardest ones are on the road. The “easier” are at home, helping to possibly secure 2 wins in each.

Because anybody with a set of eyes can see that even if this team scrapes its way into a regional is likely going 0-2 or 1-2 in that said regional. They are not good at a single facet of the game.

Who's to say? Get in and get hot because you have to win the games host or not. Can't always be the favorite.

Sorry, but A&M is for real. Not going to happen with this team.

Because they didn’t start great and they are getting worse in every phase. Pretty easy.

It doesn’t look good now, but teams and players evolve as the season goes on. Moore will be coming back too. And if they don’t, then ok, you were right. But at least wait until then. You can’t take one half of the season and just assume the second half will go the same way. 2023 was a good example.

Is stinking it up a generalization?

Well for one any season that fails to reach Omaha and/or does not end in Baton Rouge is a major disappointment. 14 wins is the benchmark for this team, but it’s not a benchmark for normal LSU teams. It’s not even base expectation level. Doesn’t mean we hate Jay or anything he’s already the 2nd most accomplished coach in LSU history. But the season as a whole is a major disappointment barring an epic run at the end.

Because they are low IQ melt queens that never played above the little league all star team.

This season is over. Need to look to next year and build that team to be a winner. CJJ will need to go in to the portal and get winners. This year he missed on almost every portal player. Hope next year he can do better. We are losing some really talented guys. But we are also returning most of the weekend guys. Not sure if thats a good thing or not from the way they've been playing this year.

Yes it will play out, but nothing has given me a thought that this ship can be righted.
Nobody is accountable. There is no senior leadership or leaders in general.
This team has talent, but no heart.

Thank you for the comment on Jay because the way some people post, it does seem like they already hate him, which is ridiculous.
