The only hope is to infiltrate the party the same way they infiltrated it. There is no other option, but most (95%+) of the elected Republicans across all levels of politics are nothing more than traitorous, corrupt democrats in GOP skin suits
There was potential with the Trump movement, but I think that star has faded unfortunately DJT is now 80 years old and has been entrenched in the swamp now that he has been a politician for over a decade.

RINO boomers can't let go

Anyone who remembers TEA party and how it was undercut by the establishment should not be surprised
Odd because this is only his fifth year serving in public office.

It was specifically undercut by Marco Rubio.

MAGA cannot takeover the republican party. a new party must be started.

TEA party existed before Marco was in the US Senate. No doubt he aided in undercutting it, but the old guard who were already established were on the forefront.

And ultimately co-opted by the Evangelicals
Similar to MAGA now with the Evangelical-Neocon shift/takeover

MAGA leaders became MIGA
MAGA voters have become America First (but it really should be coined America Only)
Until our side realizes that, we will be in for another ride of communist leadership from the left.

I'm aware, because my memory of Rubio extends back greater than 2 years. He rode the Tea Party to election victory then shite all over it to ingratiate himself with the old guard.

I'm sure he was promised a better deal. That's how they work. Except for the Democrats. Ilhan and AOC haven't shut up. They've just toned things down a bit. But they're not going away. Sure, some elements of the Squad and militant Left have been removed, but they're still a major player, unlike the TEA Party / MAGA folks.

That's why I'm mystified that he's the current Golden Child with MAGA.

As Rumsfeld said, you don't always have the military you want, but have to go with what you have.

Which, while politically awkward, was 100% true.
But we only have one military. There are plenty of politicians besides Marco Rubio.
