Most of yall focus on the bands who have been good for decades


Shout out the good bands today who aren’t 70+:

Yeah, that was not the list I was expecting. The crowd at the last truckers show I went to had to average 50+ (at least). They’ve been making music for 30 years. I don’t think they would describe themselves as “new.” Same for a number of others on this list.

Cross Canadian ragweed was big in early 2000s still love live at the wormy dog.

Lots of these are a decade + old, so I'd include Rival Sons on this list.

Saw a pretty good young blues/R&B guitar player open for ZZ Top in NOLA last week, McKinley James.

I am not too sure what constitutes a New or old band but to me these are definitely newer bands. I have been listening to music for a long time. In my opinion, there is very few good bands out there making good music anymore. This list does contain some very good bands.
