I don't have any pics yet (Trying not to disturb them much)

I'm just posting as a general inquiry. Have any of you baws had them nest in your yard before?

If they are successful in this spot is it likely that they will continue to come back?

Yes, they will be back...every year...and eventually their babies too.

I was actually about to do some painting on that carport. I guess I'll have to put it off until Fall

They're really cool looking so I want them to stay.

I'm wondering if I should feed them or if that would attract too many other birds into their domain

That's awesome. You can hang a tray style meal worm feeder in your yard. They will appreciate it.

I put up a box in our yard a couple years ago and we have so many bluebirds it's crazy. We love watching them.

Yep tractor supply has cheap build meal worms.
We have three boxes in our yard and nesting pairs annually now.
Finished the last of seven BB boxes Monday to give away.

I had a pair of doves returning every year to have their babies- until a Cooper's Hawk paid them a visit.

Baby birds leave the nest unbelievably quickly….i’ll bet you are done with them in 6 weeks. In the meantime, be on the lookout for snakes in your carport, an snakes have a way of finding bird nests.

Love blue birds. Had two boxes in the yard and the damn squirrels bored out the holes and took over

Nesting pair on a post outside front door right now. They hatched two that left a week ago and theyrrrrre back again. I guess it’s the same pair.

I love bluebirds. I have built some bluebird houses and put up in the yard. I have a pair or their kids that come back every year. The blue birds are neat. Watch them and you will see the female builds the nest while the male stays there and guards the nest. He will run off any birds or squirrels that gets close as she flies back and forth one stick at a time.

The older I get the more interested I get in birds. I have one of those feeders with a camera and an app on my phone to watch the birds that my daughter gave me for my birthday last year.

I have two Bluebird houses. One has three eggs in it. Something got into the second one being I found some pieces of the eggs on the ground. I have had snakes and raccoons get into them. Last year the Bluebirds chased a rat snake up onto my deck and my smoker.

Here is the birdhouse plan I built. Found this on youtube a while back. I have built dozens of these for friends and family. Very easy if anyone is interested.
