Does no one care that Iran killed almost 50k of its own citizens 3 Months ago?

I feel like I’m crazy. They were slaughtering women and children too. Why? Because the government didn’t like that they had opinions.
Far be it from me to think that anyone in national or international level politics actually cares about what is right or wrong (or even has a conscience) but no one even mentions that killing genocidal maniacs is a good thing.
