Not surprising. I hope her family issues have been resolved satisfactorily. They kept her out the whole season.
Realistically, she’d be way down the depth chart here. Don’t blame her for seeking more minutes. She’d be another good get for Redus at Rutgers.
I wish her the best unless she’s playing against us.

From someone who would know, Kim knew that Gilbert was going to miss the whole rest of the season after all this went down. Kim told her that there likely would not be a spot for her on the roster next year, but she would help and support her in any way that she could to find a place to play next year. The parting is very amicable on both sides. Apparently there was some really fricked up stuff going on with Gilbert's family.

It is surprising bc Kim said only Divine was expected to leave.

I don't think she really considered her returning, not in a bad way, just already knew she was going since she's kinda already been gone for 4 months.

We can get better more experienced guards. Plenty in the portal. Not too worried. Don't blame the bottom 2 freshmen who played minimal minutes to leave for more minutes. Bella improved towards end of year, especially defense, but struggled scoring, turnovers & fouls. I thought Kim talked to each person and all but Bourrage and Gilbert were staying. Guess Bella changed her mind. Maybe good for her to follow Redus at Rutgers to play meaningful minutes.

She was going to get a ton more minutes next season playing for a national championship contender. I don’t see where it would make sense for her to go and start at Rutgers.

It's not going to be disclosed unless Gilbert does it herself. It's a personal private family matter and really none of our business. People on this board should not be disclosing it. There are some things that should be kept private.
