Sometimes you hear people say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Jay is always going to give his guys a shot because he believes in them. You can say this is a fault of him but it's also a big reason we won the past 2 NCs. Good example was Hurd who never quite lived up to his expectations but that NC run he shut it down.

Probably so, but I don't understand why he's not trying someone else there. We get no production at the plate from 1B and the defense has been terrible. Maybe someone else gives you one of the 2. I don't know, but it just seems weird not to try someone else with the struggles Yorke has had.

I'm a big Braun fan, so I'd love to see it. I don't think he has the speed to play outfield good enough at this level, but he can hit or at least put together very productive at bats and certainly can't be a downgrade defensively at 1st.

Remember how so many wanted to bench Nuss and play that other dude? And then the other dude played and he sucked worse than Nuss? Think coaches know their teams way more intimately than us fans?

Nuss was hurt and everyone knew it. It was worth seeing what a healthy backup could do. Is Yorke hurt?
