I seriously think his girth affects his swing plane, particularly against better pitching. He knows he's going to be challenged to rotate fast enough, so he opens his lead shoulder prematurely.

He wasnt a power hitter. If u go back and.lool at his film he is a contact pull hitter. He is trying to hard to be a power hitter snd is getting under the ball too much hence the pop flies. He needs to get on plain with ball and get back to what got him here....line drives
