The Ukraine conflict and this war has shown that warfare is changing and we have not adapted.
Yes we are superior but that's only due to the number of resources we have.
The contractors are still making the same old crap and getting rich off it.

What are you going on about?
Posted on 4/3/26 at 2:20 pm to boogiewoogie1978
It’s mainly drones and anti drone capabilities that they have really screws up on.

Anduril makes some pretty insane stuff

15k plus combat sorties before the first loss, I’d say we innovated just fine

And that's the future

That is true. I have heard some say that drones may end up killing the tank. Some say we don’t need tanks anymore because we can do so much with drones now plus tanks are sitting ducks for drones today. Why spend all that money on developing tanks when drones are way cheaper.

Yes. We can't even move our multi billion dollar ships to within 2000 kms for fear of them being swarmed by $20,000 drones.
Id laugh if I weren't crying.

MIC contractors need to send their sons and daughters to Ivy League schools and maintain homes in NoVA as well as the coast.

I’m sure we will always have that problem. At some point though the military will not want to pay for a tank worth millions when they can spend that money on other pet projects.

This already happened in Ukraine / Russia war.
Tanks are obsolete death traps.

Not one part of that is true...
Do you really think a drone that flew 1000 km could even find a ship?

Yes it has. Could you imagine what Fallujah, Mosul, or Ramadi would have looked like with FPV drones flying around on both sides. Those places would be one giant bloodstain today that would never wash out. It almost was anyway.

I've been in their facilities and it was pretty fascinating being in a southern California plant where the young engineers were so excited at their ability to blow shite up. I saw several different drones....all devistatingly effective.
