Do other catchers drop balls as much as he does? Also does this take batting into it? He has the most strikeouts of all the starters by far and one of the lower batting averages

You have to be a special kind of frickwad to take his nomination for a post season award (a good thing) and use it as an opportunity to bash him.

Serna will be on the next list

I can't imagine anyone who is on that award's committee has watched a single game with him catching. His receiving/defense has been terrible. Hell, it's likely he's in the process of losing his job as the main catcher on this team.
Maybe he was banged up a little bit and he'll turn things around, but I can't imagine any reason he'd come close to winning that award as things currently stand.

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU sophomore catcher Cade Arrambide was named Wednesday to the Buster Posey Award Midseason Watch List. The award is presented each season by the Wichita (Kan.) Sports Commission to the nation’s outstanding collegiate catcher. Arrambide, a product of Tomball, Texas, is hitting .259 this season with five doubles, four homers, 16 RBI and 19 runs scored. He has a .981 fielding percentage behind the plate, and he has thrown out three baserunners attempting to steal. He was named to the Live Like Lou Jax College Classic All-Tournament team on February 22 after hitting .400 (4-for-10) in three games with one double, two homers, four RBI, four runs, four walks and a .600 on-base percentage. Last season as a true freshman, Arrambide contributed to LSU’s drive to the National Championship by appearing in 36 games (19 starts), batting .242 (15-for-62) with three doubles, four homers, 14 RBI and 11 runs
A good fielding percentage for a catcher is .990 or higher, with elite MLB catchers often reaching .995–1.000 over a season. Fielding percentage starts to be considered bad below .985–.990, as this indicates a high rate of passed balls and errors that directly result in run scoring.
By those metrics, he’s a bad catcher!

Since you lack reading comprehension, I'll explain it to you:
I wasn't bitching about anything. I was calling you a piece of shite. Because you're a piece of shite.

This just proves to me that these people do not watch the games. Cade should not be on anybody’s watch list or honorable mention list.

Cade has been a little banged up and he will be back. He's one of the most talented players on the roster.
We need him and if he can return to the form he had in the fall, he's going to be huge for us

Weird how not shitting on players is the edgy position in your mind.

Arrambide's fielding percentage is .991 right now, Serna's is .970.

As much as I'll point out both like to try to pick more than block, these pitchers are in no way helping with their lack of control.
