The school said on its Facebook page that parents needed to bring I.D. in order to pick up their children, adding that reunification may take some time.

Not racism. Neither is requiring an ID to vote.

Shooting in Bulverde: What to Know

CCSO said the school was on lockdown at around 9:25 a.m. local time, with students being taken to nearby Bulverde Middle School for reunification with their parents.

The sheriff's office initially said one person had been shot and it was unclear if a suspect had been taken into custody, with an update around 45 minutes later stating it was not an active shooter situation.

At around 11:40 a.m. local time, officials confirmed the 15-year-old student had died. The student’s cause of death is unknown at this time.

The teacher had been taken to a San Antonio hospital, but CCSO had no other updates on her condition.

Texas schools don't expel you anymore.

One of my tenants is a teacher and her associate teacher was literally beat up in front of the class and the kid was back in the class the next day. Meanwhile, she had a broken collarbone and tons of facial lacerations.

You know this kid had many problems before today and the school more than likely glossed over it and put the teacher in danger.

This happened at what appears to be a special public school for gifted kids. So it is odd the child when there if he had all of these problems.

I have never heard of this school but it seems pretty nice.

Bulverde is a nice small town. Upper middle class, lots of white flight. Kind of rednecky but it’s one of the richest districts in the area. This is quite bizarre tbh.

The longer they withheld the shooter's identity, the more likely the shooter is trans and/or gay.

ETA: and/or illegal immigrant

It’s apparently pretty new. My wife’s friend just said that their daughter has an interview at the school in a few weeks, along with several of her classmates.

Uhhh how the hell does that not get you expelled? Esp in TX. CA or NY i could see it.

Within the last year I’ve seen stories from TX involve a kid stab and kill someone at a track meet and get off on bail and a guy caught cheating in a fishin tourney being threatened with 10 years. TX is all talk it sounds like. FL > TX.
