Disappointing but by no means surprising that Rory isn’t playing. He was undoubtedly the reason for the record crowds the last few years.

The Zurich is just in an awful spot on the schedule to attract top guys.

I imagine Lowry/Brooks will basically be the headliner group. Morikawa as a Zurich guy will be there as well.

Next year they said it will be in a slightly different spot not sandwiched between signature events. It is still a great time and a well run tournament

Vilips/Thorbjornsen will be a good group to follow assuming they re-up.

Have to hope the Fitzpatricks come back. Justin Rose used to be a Zürich ambassador. I’m not sure if he still is. I don’t remember the last time he played.

This. It’s become a really fun event regardless of who shows up.

My wife actually looks forward to it and outside of Rory and Scottie I don’t think she could name a single pro golfer.

It’s a shite event on a shite course by Tour standards. We’re lucky Rory won it years ago now the ratings and attendance will look like a Pels game.

Tiger never bothered coming to NOLA and I doubt many top 10 guys ever will either.

Most top guys outside of Tiger have made at least one stop.

JT, Speith, Rahm, Bryson, Scottie, Rory, etc have all played in the team event.

Two weeks after the Masters, one week after a Sig event, and then followed by two more Sig events make it an easy week to skip.

The WORST.

Scottie, Xander, Rory, Morikawa, Fitzpatrick, Rahm, Tommy, etc have all played in the Zurich.

The only top 10 guy off the top of my head who hasn’t is Bryson.

Bryson played in the Zurich before he literally and figuratively got big.

2017 He missed the cut with Sabbatini

CUT DeChambeau/Sabbatini -4

Rose played with Henrik Stenson last I recall maybe 2021-22ish.

I think the only Zurich sponsored guys are Theegala, Morikawa, and Horschel.

Just google'd it.....looks like they added Lowry and Ben Griffin too this past January so that is why Lowry is back without Rory.

Morikawa isn't a Zurich Ambassador anymore, so he won't be back.

I look at this way, you get to see a lot of the young up and comers at the Zurich along with a few top names. Not ideal but still some great golf played and always a fun time.

Yet, almost every year the winners end up on the Ryder Cup or President's Cup so somehow they keep finding top tier players.

11 of the top 12 golfers in the world (OWGR) have played the tournament in the last 6 years. Your comment speaks high ignorance.

Cam Young is the only golfer who hasn't played in the Top-10.

Dude hated TPC Louisiana or just the team format. Him and Hovland sucked and then he paired with Kurt Kitayama and they sucked as well.

Sahith played great two years ago but Willy Z was terrible at putting and they missed the cut because of it.

I believe he played with Homa a few years ago and they were nearly DFL.

You have got to be the most miserable person in the world. You hate everything NOLA/LA, but continue to post on all of their forums. Why not just avoid the things you dislike instead of regurgitating the same shite over and over about wanting to sell the teams. You bring nothing to any thread you post in except for constant complaining and negativity.

Rory should team up with Chase Koepka as the ultimate revenge play.
