Selling Baseball Card Collection

Just wanted to post an update to my thread from a few months ago where I asked for advice on selling the childhood card collection that my brother and I put together as kids. Link to that thread:
Selling Baseball Card Collection
I had been following Chasing Cardboard, so I took a chance and submitted our collection to them. For those of you who don’t know, Chasing Cardboard goes around the country buying sports card collections and filming the episodes. High quality production and they’re just like American Pickers but with cards. They look for the stories as much as the cards.
Well, they Immediately got in touch with us, set up a date and came out to film us earlier this month. The episode went live this morning and here’s the link.

They filmed for most of the day and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

We had been chatting back and forth during the course of the evening. He was concerned that we’d get low-balled. He made that offer to me before he ever got there and was very happy about his decision. As a matter of fact we’re meeting up again this Saturday.
