Mets top lineup took him into deep waters. A Cruz out there CF with no sunglasses. Those runs were preventable.

No. Wasn’t sharp but two horrible plays by Cruz in CF cost him 3 runs. Bloop single, IF hit. The only hard hit ball was the first misplay and it should have been caught.

He might've lost his CY repeat chances right there
Usually CY winners might have 1 real bad game, 5ER in 2-3IP for the whole season.
