This is one of the most important hires in LSU athletics history. Period. Our men’s round ball program means a lot and it was fading. Not anymore.

Your buddy from outside Louisiana probably knows next to nothing about LSU basketball, or, perhaps college basketball on the whole.
Imagine how illogically stupid it sounds to say "LSU doesn't give a shite about basketball...because they hired the guy who has the best winning % at LSU in 100+ years.
Maybe it is just me, but it sounds like some who like LSU basketball would also like to see them win some games.

I don't like that this whole situation reeks of politics and the "good Ole boy" group. I have no problem hiring wade but Landry and his cronies should have nothing to do with it (or any other politician for that matter) ?? GEAUX TIGERS ??????
