Thank God he struck out on his first couple of baseball choices and we ended up with Jay

Not great. He was possibly hiring Kevin O’Sullivan away from being the biggest disaster of all time.

The rant will always vilify him no matter what, but I think the truth is more complicated.
Multiple things can be true at once
The good he did was championship-caliber. Bringing in Jay Johnson and Kim Mulkey were huge feathers in his cap. Even though people love to point out that it was Kelly Zinn that got Jay here and Kim was looking to come home anyway, he does deserve some of the credit for those moves.
The bad was bad. Like really bad. The way he handled the Will Wade situation was awful, made worse by the lack of success the program has had since that firing. He let politics and optics influence his decision making far too often.
Ultimately though, his greatest mistake was whiffing on a football coach, and saddling that coach with an exorbitant contract with no safety net. He could have survived a lot, even the basketball debacle, had we a few playoff runs over the last 4 years and some modicum of ROI on Kelly’s contract

If you’re gonna state facts, at least know how to spell her name. It’s Keli Zinn. She is brilliant and doing a great job at Rutgers.

hot garbage hires for the only 2 sports that turned a profit.

As has been stated before he wasn't after Jay, his incompetence saved us on that one.
How many ADs would have told Kim, "No thanks, we good".? CKM took the job more than he offered it.
He will be remembered as shite by LSU fans because of his handling of the Wade fiasco and the CBK disaster. He will be remembered nationwide for his ridiculous contracts for subpar coaches.

I'd fight that fat frick if I saw him
Posted on 3/25/26 at 10:52 pm to NeilArmstrong1969
He’s a fat liberal who only is “respected” by a few because he went to a certain HS in BR

Good luck fighting him
Here’s a recent picture of him after dropping a few pounds and leaning up

Legit question cuz I can't remember, did Woodward make O hire a black DC in Daronte Jones because of the 2020 bullshite?
Posted on 3/25/26 at 11:28 pm to Bottom9
Idk about that but I did hear Woodward kept BK from firing Brad Davis last off season.

I think the better question is “How fat was Scott Woodward?”
Now that is something worth investigating

Sorry, Mr. Zinn. Won’t happen again

I have heard that Scott is a nice guy but the way Will Wade was let go is disqualifying in my opinion. He let a great Coach get railroaded and didn’t fight to keep him. It was unforgivable! Go Tigers! Will Wade, Jay Johnson, Kim Mulkey and Lane Kiffin will be the best coaches in college sports…

I don’t really understand how someone so fat and incompetent got to the level he was at

He wouldn’t have been bad. He’s got pitching every year.
