The director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has again referred New York Attorney General Letitia James to the U.S. Department of Justice for criminal prosecution, proffering allegations that New York’s top cop may have falsified information on her homeowner’s insurance application.

The FHFA Director William Pulte, who oversees Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and the Federal Home Loan Banks, asked U.S. Attorneys in Florida and Illinois on Wednesday to “authenticate and investigate” the information, according to two letters reviewed by Just the News.

Pulte cites a series of social media posts by attorney and President of The Article III Project, Mike Davis, who explained how he believes the evidence laid out in previously published court documents demonstrate that James misled her home insurer when applying for coverage.

This is reaching.
Declaration of a primary residence vs secondary residence is a nothingburger.

We shouldn’t applaud this, just as we shouldn’t have applauded her persecution of Trump.

Even if nothing comes of it he is giving her a taste of his arse while she is dealing with all of headaches of being prosecuted.

She is a bad person and she poked the Bear.

Never poke the Bear.

So was everything they ran Trump through the court system for. But it was a huuuuuuge issue a couple years ago. So let's see if it still is.

Please show me a case where someone was jailed for this.
I wrote literally thousands of home insurance policies, and personally handled over 2k claims.
Never once was this an issue.
The ONLY issue ever faced was secondary vs rental, and that wasn’t criminal. It just nullified loss of use/loss of income.

Calling bullshite here…we should absolutely applaud this and wish for more. There has to be some blow back aimed at the aggressors such as her. That’s why she went after Trump to begin with…didn’t fear catching some smoke in return.

No. I’m saying no adjuster really questioned the accuracy of the applications, even in claims time. And certainly no govt figure came knocking or asking.

A gov’t big enough to give you what you want, in this case a literal witch hunt, is powerful enough to do it to you as well. Be careful what you wish for.

And I type this as someone who thinks she should be disbarred for what she did to Trump.
