Not a movie, no
But an animated series like Invincible? Absolutely.

I want to say this in the works. Don’t remember the specifics.

Animated series is the only way to do it properly IMO
A movie would have to cut too much and it would be a CGI mess

An animated series would be awesome, as well as a video game.

Even a live action series would require so many visual effects it would be impossible to release them annually. Just do animated and save money by having Jeff Hays voice every character.

This is the way.

There's already a live action series in the works
quote:
A live-action TV adaptation of Matt Dinniman's Dungeon Crawler Carl is in development by Universal International Studios and Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door. The project is actively moving forward, with scripts written by Chris Yost (known for The Mandalorian). While the series is in the early stages, it is confirmed to be live-action

I read that a little while back and I just have a hard time seeing it. Not necessarily Seth McFarlane but it being live action. It's going to be an ugly CGI fest if it's got a Hulu budget. I mean it has to be a CGI fest just by the nature of the story/characters.

I started the first book and its good but does it get less repetative? Every chapter is Carl killing creatures while princess donut barely does anything and says entitled things. Is it just 7 books of rinse and repeat?

No. Definitely not.
