Trump Says Iran Gave us a Very Valuable Present Yesterday - Oil and Gas Related

And because of this he knows they're going to make a deal and that we are dealing with the right people.
I wonder what he could be talking about. He says he won't tell us but that it's worth a "tremendous amount of money."

No doubt.
I don't know how much truth is in it, but I read that one of the demands Trump has is that the regime steps down in exchange for safe passage to some place else.
I think the thing is kinda like, "we are gonna keep bombing you frickers and there isn't anything you can do to stop it, so either step down or face inevitable death.
It's a pretty powerful bargaining tool when you've already killed 3 levels of the governments upper leadership and millions of your own citizens want to kill you too.

Pretty sure they are. 3,000 troops is not an invasion force. It's a quick reaction force. High likelihood those soldiers never disembark the navy vessels they're on. Imo anyways.

- then now we have a new group. And we could easily take them out too, but let's see how it goes. What we essentially have is regime change. And we know this is true because they promised us a gift and they gave it to us. And they're the only ones who could have done it, so we are dealing with the right people.
Is there still shite to clean up from what the previous leaders did such as the mines in the strait of hormuz? Yes. Also, since their command structure was wiped out you have people in their military cut off from the people in charge and those people still need to be brought in line.
So stuff to clean up still, but this is over.
The UK is going to lead the mine sweeping operation.

I'm thinking that the "present" they gave us is a partnership to rebuild Iran, including their oil infrastructure.

China will be required to pay Dollars for their oil/gas purchases which will help the US currency and pay for the Iran rebuilding.

That, or some stationing of US troops on some of the islands around the Strait and reopening it.
