I thought lefties wanted gas prices to go up

My gas is almost below 3$ a gallon again. Still above the 2.70 where it was when it started but I’ve seen leftist online acting like they’re going broke because of it.

Hint: move out of blue states, most of that is state taxes from muh green policy

I paid $3.13/gal on Friday and my buddy just came back from town and said it's $2.91 now.

But I don't want leftists moving out of blue states to escape the high tax policies they created. They should be forced to stay there and live with it. Why? Because the California lib transplants are already ruining AZ, TX and ID and it won't be long before the NY lib transplants are ruining FL and TX. They don't learn. They bring their voting habits along with their furniture.

OK has seen a significant influx of transplants ourselves, but thankfully we've somehow remained solidly red. I just wish we'd elect some Senators and Reps that weren't tPOS RINOs. But the GOPe closed primary prevents me from tossing the swampers as an Independent, so I'm powerless.

If so I guarantee they all blame orange and not their state government which is directly responsible for at least and likely more than 50% of that cost

The same progressives whining today were telling me four years ago $5 a gallon was fine because it was due to helping the Ukraine grift.

This is from a gas station in Phoenix yesterday: $6.49 for a gallon of gas. All because Trump started war with no plan and no idea how it would affect everyday Americans.

I'm fighting to suspend the federal gas tax to bring families some relief, but what they really need is a president focused on lowering their costs.

This has already been pointed out but allow us to reemphasize that:

33% of Arizona’s gasoline — including the entire Phoenix refined products market — comes from California refineries via pipeline.

With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead.

Arizona has ZERO refineries of its own.

With your military background - you of all people recognize that recent events have shown how unwise it is to allow an economy to be at risk of foreign choke points half way across the world.

AZ is no different. We recommend AZ decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible.
