I get why they dropped LSU but seeing Arkansas 18-7 ranked 6th with losses to Stetson (2), Arkansas St, and UAT

Looks like they haven't lost a series this year and are off to a great start in conference

Dave Van Horn might be cursed in Omaha and might throw pitchers arms off but he always wins.

Honestly who cares?
Win 20 SEC games or don't
Then your going to host and the rest is just noise

They’ve leveled out recently and their worst losses were early in the season. Also benefit of the doubt because they are a consistent program. LSU gets this treatment too but the negative lately has been too hard to overlook from a rankings standpoint. Win a series and that will change.

I haven’t watched Arkansas, so I can’t really compare, but LSU has looked bad the last 3 weeks or so.
Bats have been terrible.
Pitchers have been dominant in spots, but have also walked WAY too much.
Fielding has just been sloppy on the whole infield, minus Milam.
Despite all of this, they are just a few pitches, from being 4-2 in conference,
If LSU can win tonight and sweep Kentucky, everyone will be back on board.
They’ve gotta find a way to be more consistent

They haven't lost a weekend series all year and have a series win over a top 10 team. Not that hard to understand at all really.

Bc they really don't care what happened in nonconference all that much

Well they just dumped their coach 2 weeks into the SEC season.
LETS HOPE THEY DONT MAKE A MIRACULOUS TURN AROUND BEFORE THEY COME TO THE BOX!

Idk but I was In Fayetteville two weeks ago and they were hosting Miss St
I’ve never seen so much trim walking to a game before

Yep, Van Horn is the complete opposite of Jay.
Van Horn is far more consistent & has elite teams every year. But… can’t win it all in Omaha.
Jay has never had back to back elite teams at Arizona and LSU, but knows how to finish when he gets to Omaha.

Was up there when they played Texas last year. Ended up grabbing tickets and going since it was like a top 10 matchup. Idk maybe it was a combination of 75 degree weather in May and the fact that it was a rivalry game, but the atmosphere there was better than anything I've seen at the box

This baffles me that a program with the second most national championships in baseball can’t be consistently really good year after year yet a program that has no championships like Arkansas is competing for an SEC regular title almost every year
