Per ESPN broadcast schedule.

They put UCLA/Minnesota at 6:30 (4:30 Pacific time), which is a bit surprising. The people that make these decisions obviously do not own a globe.

Idk their reasoning, but Friday night isn’t usually a time where tons of people are at home gathered around the tv. Maybe they put the more appealing game in the night slot to be seen by the bar and nightlife crowd

The Duke men’s team plays Friday at 6:10 on CBS, so this puts two Duke games in the same evening.

I know we beat Duke 93-77 early in the season, but this is a solid Duke team which finished 16-2, atop the ACC. I'm borderline worried about this game

I think we beat them again , I don’t think they can score with LSU.

UCLA will be a whole different animal . I think we lose that one .

UCLA is a juggernaut. Their only loss all season was by 5 points to Texas. An LSU win over that team would be a big upset, bigger than beating SC and Dawn Staley

I know nobody cares about other peoples bets, but hear me out. I put a $5 bet on LSU Women to win it all at the beginning of the season. The payout if I win is $55. LSU is in the sweet 16, and the cash out value is only $1.78. That pretty much tells you what Vegas thinks of LSU's chances.

That has no bearing on what time ESPN chose to put the women's game. There have been instances in the past where both a women's team and men's team were playing at virtually the same time.

If Koval could hold her own defensively guarding Betts , I think our chances go way up .

Tigers will beat UCLA if they don't trip up to Duke

That's why Coach Mulkey gave her so much playing time the last 2 games. She needs her to step up if they get to UCLA

I completely agree. Think Tigers have too much firepower for Duke. UCLA will be a problem. Missed a lot of the games due to medical reasons but been catching up last couple of weeks and pouring over stats like the sports nerd I am. Think LSU outlasts Duke, but Lauren Betts is an issue for us at UCLA with guards that can drain the outside shot. Would love to reason that UCLA's only lost was to Texas whom we have a win against, but TX avenged that loss against us.

One step at a time though--Duke won't be a pushover but if LSU plays their game I think we outlast them.

Wow. I am so in awe at how much of a high stakes gambler you are.

They're very good but this postseason has shown the Big Ten to have been overrated. Iowa was the #2 team in the conference and they lost by 50 to UCLA then couldn't get out their own regional against a 10 seed. OSU also out on their home court. Including the Texas loss, UCLA's games against the top of the Big Ten hasn't been a bunch of blowouts except for the Iowa games. OSU and Michigan games were close, Oklahoma game was closer than our games against them.

That pretty well says it all. UCLA literally scares the be-HAY-sus out of me. I hope we beat Duke and get a shot at them, but they're truly an awe-inspiring team this year, better than SC, maybe better than UConn.
