Oklahoma is throwing a lefty

Curiel-CF
Brown-RF
Milam-SS
Serna-DH
Pearson-1B
Bide-C
Caraway-3B
Simpson-2B
Stanfield-LF

If a Righty was throwing it would be different than this one for sure

Need his bat, but you can’t learn how to play 1st during SEC play.

Milam-SS love him leading off
Brown-RF best player hits 2
Serna-DH time to move him up. Confidence is gaining
Curiel-CF got to try something to get him going
Caraway-3B like the ABs he has been taking
Yorke-1B not giving up on the big guy. The golden sombrero is always rought but i thought he had a good night in the field IMO
Simpson-2B think he needs more ABs
Arrambide-C ain't seeing it great right now
Stanny-LF 2nd leadoff hitter... love him down here

Absolutely not. That experiment was a disaster. 3B or DH, sure. But Pearson playing 1B is an error waiting to happen.

Yorke not adjusting to SEC very well. He watches too many pitches & ends up with 2 strikes at the plate too often , which leads to strikeouts

Milam - SS
Brown - RF
Curiel - CF
Serna - DH
Pearson - 3B
Simpson - 2B
Yorke - 1B
Arrambide - C
Stanfield - LF

Pearson has handled himself well at 3B.

Simpson hasn't had a start yet this weekend.

Serna is becoming a mainstay.

Yorke isn't losing his spot. You may see Yamin start at 1B, but I doubt it.

I'd honestly like to see Yorke down at 8. He gets on base, and Stanfield isn't an XBH machine (I know about the doubles last year, but he's not going gap to gap with power, is what I mean). Milam is great at doing his job, Brown is Brown, and Curiel is Curiel, despite early season struggles. It would be a great way to create more base runners for the top of the order.

I just doubt Jay would run 4 right handed bats in a row right there.

Last I heard Simpson has a ridiculously high K rate.

ETA: Holy frick he has 13 strikeouts in 30 plate appearances.

Ruckert is young with a great upside. Just wait and see. The portal is great but developing freshmen is important too.

Only change I’d make. Im not sure why more people don’t have Braun included in their hypothetical batting order.
