Green Bay could handle the NFL Draft traffic and tourists but not Pittsburgh?

Very soft for a city who's team is historically hard-nosed

I wonder if they didn’t get enough feedback that too many staff/students were going to be out to make normal operations unfeasible. Short of that this comes off as an odd choice

Those kids are not learning anything in school, might as well cancel.

Why are they switching to remote learning when school is morning to afternoon.... and the draft rounds Thursday-Friday aren't until nighttime?

Bold of you to assume this is already happening.

Excuse to preserve energy for the war effort/also because there's a global supply problem atm. Same thing with prices, pretending it's based on demand is laughable. If there's a supply shortage, you artificially raise prices to limit consumption

Over half a million people go to the draft?

What an absolute embarrassment for Pittsburgh and America in general.

The draft is expected to draw 500,000 to 700,000
