I wonder if they didn’t get enough feedback that too many staff/students were going to be out to make normal operations unfeasible. Short of that this comes off as an odd choice

Why are they switching to remote learning when school is morning to afternoon.... and the draft rounds Thursday-Friday aren't until nighttime?

Because UGA players will be in town for the draft. Best to keep students off the road those days for safety

Excuse to preserve energy for the war effort/also because there's a global supply problem atm. Same thing with prices, pretending it's based on demand is laughable. If there's a supply shortage, you artificially raise prices to limit consumption
