Why are Miami OH and High Point coaches playing the victim card so bad?

We get it, the big bad SEC and Greg Sankey are always going out of their way to keep poor little High Point and little ol Miami down. We all see that you have a Napoleon complex and it’s not a good look on you at all. He’s talking tough and overcompensating to try to convince everyone that they belong. Just let the play on the court do the talking.
Reminds me of Coastal baseball last year vs LSU, classless remarks in the press conference, and then the coach got himself ejected in the first inning because he was more worried about winning the dick measuring contest with the ump than he was about winning the ballgame.
There’s a difference between playing the underdog card and playing the victim card. Nobody likes a whiner, easy way to destroy any credibility you earned through this win.
As a La Tech fan I hope that if we ever win a March Madness game or go to Omaha we show class and act like we’ve been there before unlike these guys.

Because a scummy former coach was shitting on midmajors to try to get his bum kid in the tourney.

Yep. Auburn only won 17 games and then he had Bruce Pearl on TV whining about how they should get in.

Have you ever been to High Point? Most Texas high schools are bigger.

You definitely took the media bait

I think the whole Bruce Pearl stuff is fake outrage just because it’s the big bad SEC. And oh by the way the SEC already has 2 wins as double digit seeds in the NCAAT, so maybe Pearl was right. Auburn definitely deserved it over SMU that’s for sure.
Pearl was only doing what everybody else would’ve done in that scenario. When it’s selection time literally every bubble team politicks to the committee and makes the sales pitch, but it’s only a problem when the big bad SEC does it.

SMU lost to LSU. That loss should have eliminated SMU.

And Georgia got spanked by a mid-major like it was a 1-16 game, so there’s that

Sounds like you're playing the victim card yourself

Glad you only need 11 players… really 7. That’s what makes this tournament great.

Former SEC coach was literally on TV trying to keep Miami of Ohio out and propping up a team coached by his son. That’s pretty fricked up given the situation…

You realize coastal Carolina won college World Series in the past decade.. they’ve built a championship caliber program by instilling the underdog mentality and grit to take on the SEC

High Point’s coach said that mid-majors really don’t get much respect from the high majors, but he still can’t get them to schedule them.
I can understand that if true. They get criticized for not having played anybody, but how can they help it if they won’t play them?
