so you're saying once Tulsi took a position, she needs to maintain that position for the remainder of her life. No matter how much circumstances change over, say a 6 year period. No matter how much more information she becomes aware of that she may not have had when she took her original position.
Once she takes a position, even if future information allows her to see the imminent danger posed to the country she currently serves, she needs to dig in and so "nope I once 6 years ago posted a pithy X (then Twitter!!!) with a cute T shirt so I can't recommend in good conscience we defend ourselves now"
