Paul Skenes and Bobby Witt Jr. That’s it, the rest of them should never be invited back. Start fresh next time!

Mason Miller?
Roman Anthony?
Roman Anthony?

Roman Anthony had a better tournament than Witt.

Maybe go get a manager and not a MLB network host

He’s putting a lineup together now because he thinks it’s a best of 5

Why didn’t Henderson or Crow-Armstrong start?

It's a 1-game final. Calm the hell down.

Over playing the lefty/righty matchups most likely.
I know Cal Raleigh hasn’t had a good tournament, but neither has Will Smith. He should have started too.

The young core of Skenes, Witt, Anthony, Miller, Turang and PCA should all be back next time.
Logan Webb was solid also, but the big name vets didn't really contribute to much of the team success. Though McLean pitched better this game I can think of roughly a half dozen better options the team should've rostered to run out for this game.

The way some of yall post incredibly stupid things with the utmost confidence is breathtaking.

I bet if Bregman plays in the WBC again, it’ll be for Israel.

just my 2 cents (not that it matters), but wasn't david ross on staff? not saying david ross lit the world on fire in his time as cubs manager, but he has managerial experience. hopefully for the olympics/next wbc usa gets someone with mlb managerial experience in the position.

Yes. Guys like Dusty Baker and Bruce Bochy come to mind. Recently retired with a long history of managing personalities and big egos to great success.

Skenes, Witt, Henderson, Anthony should be your core.

I’m as big of a Bregman fan there is, with that said the only way he should be apart of a WBC for America should be from the bleachers.

It's the managers fault they couldn't get a runner on base with no outs for almost two games?

That's an understatement. I don't love Raleigh not being in the lineup, but he didn't have a single hit the entire tournament. Hard to lean on him when he was struggling so much. He and Buxton were outright liabilities at the plate.

Fair. I trust him to hit an oopsie home run more than Will Smith I guess is what I’m saying

Fair point as well. Smith isn't going to get lucky more often than Raleigh.
