We eat there almost every time we go, never have had a bad meal! I got the ribeye last time and it was fantastic. I recommend getting the Egg roll appetizer.

We also like to go to mountain fork brewery and eat and drink then hit the ice cream shop next door.

Hoochatown saloon was very meh..

For activities:

If you have kids they have a "train station" in the park they will love, along with horse back riding.

If you want to go shopping they have a bunch of little stores like Janet's treasure chest with all kinds of stuff.

If your wife and daughter are Bougee like mine they have a Starbucks in the new Indian casino choctaw landing and a nice little gift shop in there.

Also a Nice golf course just north of hoochatown called cedar creek.

One thing I will say, go to the local grocery store and buy their tube of breakfast sausage.

You'll want to buy a few tubes before you leave OK.

We always stay near mountain fork up the hill in one of the larger "cabins"

While they claim you can't have a boot full of their bourbon aged beer...you can indeed get a boot.... And a growler. And pour it yourself to the dismay of their Oklahoma sensibilities.

If you have a decent 4wd vehicle, there are a few nice trails to see around there. There's an awesome overlook above the lake. Do not take any current suv up there besides a wrangler or bronco or 4runner.

Lots of trails if you are into hiking. Take the distillery tour Hochatown Distillery.

Mountain Fork brewery has the best pizza in town. Way better than Grateful Head pizza that people rave about and the brewery has a way better atmosphere as well.

Also excellent fried cheese dipped in caramel.

Which sounds insane...until you eat it.

Yeah Abendigos was good place to eat for a little nice place.
On the southend of Hochatown there is a nice little shopping center with a good chocolate store and the Italian restaurant looks like it should be good. We didn't get to go though.
