I haven't read the books, so obviously don't know, but how does he come back after being killed in 2?

It’s best if you wait. I wouldn’t want to spoil it for you.

Paul gets the One Ring, does the Snap, and everything is put back.

Well he was killed at the end of 1 but I don’t want to spoil it for you. If you really want to know look up the Bene Tleilax from Dune

"My lord, are you blind???"

If that scene happens, it'll be in shadows... suggestions, flashes. It won't be like in the book.

The first book is really great, after that it all starts to get really weird. I think Frank Herbert was getting a little high on spice and went a little nuts.

It's frustrating that they spoiled Duncan's return though. They did the same thing with Gurney. That would have been better for the audience if they didn't know he survived the Harkonnen attack and were surprised in the theater.

It's such a yawnfest. Those images are funnier than anything else.

Second one isn’t bad. Not as good as the first. Third one is pretty good.

The fourth book is when it goes off the rails, but in a good way.

No. It’s not. Don’t watch if you dislike it.

My favorite book of all time. It will not translate well to a movie but I want to see it before I die.

My first read through of the original Dune series, God Emperor was my least favorite. It wasn't until subsequent reads that I finally realized how profound the book was, and how it was the nexus of the Dune universe. Everything before leads to Leto II's rule. Everything after is a result of Leto's sacrifice and his Golden Path.
