If you want to see some cool helicopters theyll be there in probably 20 minutes. Check adsb exchange.

They were at 1000ft. Shook my house when they flew over.

They also call that helicopter a "skippy". When it's flying, it goes "skip, skip, skip, skip, skip"

When I was flying 53 Echoes at Tustin we called them "Super Shitters" for the amount of smoke and hydraulic fluid they shite out. Great helo to fly.

Reminds me of boarding CH-47 years ago for an evening jump, noticed a pretty good spot of oil on the floor, crew chief said “that’s the rear transmission, we only worry when it quits leaking, then it’s out”…

That's almost exactly what one of my crew chiefs told me when I pointed out a large leak during a pre-flight check.

Asking a question here............ Couple years back 2 military helicopters flew over BR and you barely could hear them. All you could hear was a faint sound after they passed by. They were about 200 feet high traveling fast. Any idea what type military helicopter that is? I never thought of helicopters to be almost silent.
