Would love a pick for him, but it is kind of great that this DBag a-hole thinks he was in demand

Did you watch Geno last year? I think Glenn just likes his qbs like he likes his coffee. And it will get him fired. Carr is better than a few QBs that will be starting next year.

Carr is good. He just cant carry a team on his back. He needs a stellar WR, Better than average O-Line and a good defense.

He didnt fit well in New Orleans, just with Dennis Allen.

Carr has played under six head coaches and seven OCs. If anyone says he’s “good” I’m gonna say he’s the most unlucky QB who ever lived.

Most people were saying the same thing about Darnold last year.
And he just won a ring. Coaching and team personnel matter like it or not.

Maybe you and others are right. I'll look for him next year. Playing with someone perhaps.

I promise this is going to be the last time I address a topic about this freaking guy. He is okay with just being an okay QB. But he's passive aggressive also and plays his best when there isn't any pressure on him to succeed.

I don't get how some Saints fans have defended him. He never really got into the spirit of being the Saints franchise QB. That is an on and off the field full time job. He always to me came off as a player who was like "y'all are just lucky to have me here" type. But he had no juice to his game. He was a good passer of the ball no question, but I think in some other intangible areas he was just a poser.

I mean look at how he just dipped out of New Orleans. No real competitive player behaves that way.

There is most certainly a reason(s) that teams haven't seriously pursued him. His team was probably dropping some bait out there this off season, but no one was biting.

If they do, it will be after the draft.

So you’re saying, if Carr would have started for the Seahawks this year he would have won the Super Bowl as well because that staff is just that good? Naa you also need a good QB that doesn’t freeze in the defining moments. Carr is a useless Lemon

Darnold has been passed around the league, several teams desperate for a qb gave up on him. He landed in a perfect situation in Minny and turned his career around. If you watched the superbowl, they won it b/c of their defense and run game and not Darnold.

Carr has been better than Darnold almost his entire career. But it’s a stretch that he couldn’t pull it off if put in the same situation?

Does he join the Kaepernick train and claim he's being black-balled?

At this point, probably. I still think he winds up back with the Raiders. At some point he’ll realize there’s no market for him as a starter, and backing up a rookie and mentoring him
may be his chance. Chances are Mendoza is gonna either get banged up or go through an stretch where he’s struggling. He may get a few spot starts on that team. If he plays well, it could set him up for a better deal in ‘27.

I don’t know how his relationship with Kubiak was, though. Maybe they worked well together or maybe they hated each other’s guts. But he could also hold out through training camp and see if a starter or good #2 get injured somewhere. He’s already shown he can pick up new offenses rather quickly, because he’s been in so many different ones.

But I wouldn’t hold out much hope in getting much for his rights in a trade. I know most people are just hoping for a future pick swap—a 7th for a 6th, but I’m not sure even that is happening. And just because no team
has called the Saints doesn’t mean there’s zero interest in him. GMs could have called his agent and he didn’t like what they were selling, so he could have shut things down before it even got to the Saints. But if he really does want to play, he’ll get more desperate the longer he goes without being on a roster.
