I think we will see alot different team at the end of this season than what we are seeing now, but.......its gonna be a bumpy road along the way.

Why can’t LSU ever be worth a shite the following year after a National championship in any sport?
We can’t be consistent championship contenders for multiple years in a row in either football or baseball it seems.

We were a pitch away from winning a regional 2 years ago following a championship in baseball. Thats worth a shite.
The 2004 football team was a top 10 team following a championship.
The 1997 baseball team won a championship following the 96 championship. Seems like itd happened a few times

I will take a shot at it. LSU is a huge brand and with great success comes huge attention. All the upperclassmen then get paid a lot to leave, all our high school signees get overpaid to go to MLB, all our 2nd string players get offered a lot as well. Perfect shitty storm

This team could not even make a regional this year and still win it all next year. Jay is preparing them for the future. That’s what you have to do in baseball.
