Looking for a 120qt pot and solid burner. Like to be able to boil two sacks at a time

I bought one at academy recently. Very happy

I just upgraded to this. I can't wait to try it out.

I have a high performance 120qt pot and love it. Pricy yes but boils water in 7min and works well in the wind.

I’d rather boil two sacks separately me. For many reasons.

I just like having the extra capacity of the 120 if I ever need it, and its not that much more money. I usually do 4 sacks for good Friday so I do 2 and 2.

I'd love to try two sacks at once but I'm not that confident in my skill set. Maybe I'll do the fixings alone, pull them when the potatoes are done and put the crawfish in.
Fwiw-- they ain't kidding about this pot's boiling power. It was about 8 minutes to a rolling boil at 20 psi. Return boil was a little over a minute. Literally had to bring the psi down to 5 and nearly cut off the propane at the bottle to keep from boiling over.

You should be able to fit 65-70lbs with sides in a 120quart pot. You probably put too much water in it.
If you decide to do 2 sacks in the future, put them both in the basket and then put the basket in the empty pot. Fill the pot with water until it covers all of the crawfish plus a little. Take them out and that is your baseline for 2 sacks Then you can adjust based on how many sides you have.

I fit 2 sacks in mine and fixings in mine but its tight. You have to watch the re-boil as you noted it can come on fast. Its pretty close to the rim but I can fit it and boil it enough. You could also take the basket out for a little more elbow room you just have to scoop out everything.

And it's not like the basket has a lot of room between it and the pot. It's a pretty snug fit here so the crawfish aren't artificially higher in the pot than necessary. I set my water line at 2" above the level of crawfish which ended up being about 1" over the center of the pot.

2 sacks and the sides are in the crawfish sack buried in the middle. It’s tight but doable, you just have to man the fire to keep it from going over.

Wooo shite that's tight! You weren't kidding.

120 quarts of water has to be over 200 lbs. That pot better have a drain on it.

You're not putting 120qts of water in it to boil crawfish.

Even half of that plus the weight of the pot. It better have a drain.

You just need another person. Those pots do have a valve though.

Ohh yea it has a drain on the left side in that last pic
My only negative is the basket (not the pot) is a touch on the thin side but its plenty strong enough.

Get a Winco from Webstaurant or Amazon or possibly a local vendor that deals in Winco can order one for you. I have a 120 that is about 1/4 thick. Ive boiled crawfish and cooked white beans it with no issue.
