What's weird is there are zero reports of Iran firing a drone or missile at U.S. destroyers or aircraft carriers in close proximity to Iran. If they won't attack U.S. Naval assets in the region it makes no sense that they would attack the U.S. homeland.
I bet the calculus inside Iran is that if they attack U.S. Naval assets that would trigger massive public outrage in the U.S. and dramatically increase support for war.
