Acme Oyster House In NOLA, Oyster Eating Champion!

They have a Wall Of Fame! It’s for Oyster Eating. To get on it, you have to eat them in a three hour period. To get on there, you have to have eaten 15 dozen (180 oysters) in 3 hours.
Anyone want to guess the number of dozen eaten in a three hour period, for the record?

Thats crazy. I was at City Cafe the other night, I was talking with the owner, Squeaky Miranda. He said some nights, they may only sell 52 dozen.
The crazy part, it’s a woman that has the record.

A friend was part of a group that went to Acme with some Japanese visitors who had been in the US for a couple of weeks. One fellow was obviously missing his raw seafood; he knocked out 6 dozen like it was nothing.
