That dude is a moron, but I heard he’s nice and smart.

Politicians need to leave scripture out of their talking points. It's always embarrassing when they try to justify a point by using Bible quotes.

Christ went to an area under Roman dominion, just as His own area was. It certainly wasn't illegal immigration and it certainly does nothing to bolster this man's insane ideas.
People like this guy are not Christian. The simply use a thin veneer of Christian theology and terminology to try to lull and fool people into thinking the leftist (demonic) ideology being espoused isn't so bad. Unless he repents judgement will be severe for him.

It’s truly demented to make this comparison to score political points.

The rely on people being illiterate about their own faith. People do not think through things anymore. "Well the media says he is a Bible scholar so he must be right." Plot twist: there are tons of heretical, apostate, and unconverted among Bible scholars.

Their tool of control has become the internet. It has been this way for decades. And, as has been shown time and time again throughout scripture, their weapon is being used against them. David using Goliath's sword to sever his head, Haman and his gallows, etc.
What people don't consider is that what is happening right now, for all its chaos, is God's will. The controllers built this thing we are all using as a tool to subjugate all of us, but it is being turned against them. Their crimes and their blasphemy is being put on display for all the world to see.

Meanwhile the good Christian, professing his godly values, Paxton used burner phones to hide his affair with Duhon and received bribes from Nate Paul to issue legal opinions in his role as Texas AG to block foreclosures on his properties and slow an FBI investigation. His wife divorced him on 'biblical grounds' and he was impeached.
Jesus model of selfless love as evidence of his true discipleship is challenging....

Ken Paxton never claimed to be a preacher like Minister Talarico. Paxton was also totally vindicated in the impeachment trial. The entire case collapsed under cross examination by Tony Buzbee.

He seems pretty righteous. He scares the influencers here

Nice strawman.

Paxton constantly emphasizes his Christianity as foundational to his public life. His acquital was a public embarrassment after being impeached by a solid majority Republican state House. Nate Paul was later found guilty and Paxton' s wife divorced him. Hypocrisy

The typical leftist strategy once their premise has been destroyed...act like the premise didn't exist and deflect.
If Paxton misuses Scripture to justify affairs and bribes Ill call him out. He's not and you know that, so release the red herrings!
Meanwhile Talarico is misusing Scripture to try and justify ungodly acts and policies and is rightly getting corrected by anyone who actually understands Scripture. He has zero Biblical basis for the things he knows that. He will fail as will his candidacy.

Lot of truth in that. What is for sure is God is sovereign over all things. It reminds me of Psalms chapter 2 where the heathen rage and plot...yet God just laughs at them and their plans.
