Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade Mass Shooter Gets Hit With Shocking Punishment That’s Hard To Believe
Justice was not served.
One person was killed and multiple others, including children, were injured in a shooting after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade. It happened in 2024 as thousands were celebrating.
The violence broke out just after the parade rally ended at around 2 p.m. near Union Station. Chiefs players and staff were inside the building when shots rang out. In total, 33 people were injured. Among them, 22 suffered gunshot wounds, including 11 children.
Two adult men were arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting. One of them, Dominic Miller, was indicted on four felony charges. An autopsy confirmed that the bullet that killed Lisa Lopez Galvan came from Miller’s gun.
He admitted his role in the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl rally and found out his punishment this week.
Dominic Miller was initially charged with second-degree murder in the shootings that killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 23 others. On Monday, Miller pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and could soon be released.

After reading the article, was he being shot at then pulled his gun out and shot back? And then that bullet hit one of the victims?
IF that is the case, then I can somewhat understand the ruling if his intention was to shoot the person shooting at him and someone was caught in the crossfire.

Apparently is real.....
The article in OP's link cites Kansas City NPR and has a link to the story from NPR's site.... NPR

Dominic Miller was initially charged with second-degree murder in the shootings that killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 23 others. On Monday, Miller pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of a weapon, and a Jackson County judge sentenced him to two years in prison, with credit for time served.

“The evidence available showed he was not the first to fire, nor was the available evidence able to confirm his shot caused the victim's death,” Johnson’s statement said. “Our office consulted with the victim's family throughout the process, and they understand the limitations presented under Missouri law in these circumstances.”
The first to fire, according to police records, was Lyndell Mays, 25, who was also charged with second-degree murder and causing a catastrophe. His case is pending. A witness who was with Mays told police the problem started when Mays and another group were "arguing about why they were staring at each other," something Mays later called “stupid.”
A third person, Terry Young, 22, also faces a second-degree murder charge. A juvenile was also charged, and his case was resolved in family court.

I watch a bunch of cop cam videos.
You'd be so pissed off at the number of dropped charges and dismissed cases.

Agreed. If it came out after investigation he was holding his ground punishment fits.
He’s already done 2 years

Melesa Johnson is an American attorney and politician serving as the Jackson County prosecutor. She is the first Black person to hold the office, and is a member of the Democratic Party. Johnson was raised in Kansas City and began her career as an assistant prosecutor in Jackson County.
Here's the Jackson County Prosecutor who's protecting the people......hmmmm.

stand your ground was never brought up by the defense attorney according to the Missouri attorney general,

She’s deliberately tanking the case in the manner her Soros-bought predecessor did in the case of the firefighter shot in Independence.

No reasonable gun owner would defend randomly spraying bullets into a crowd, even in self defense. Now she's trying to disarm responsible citizens while at the same time failing to properly punish criminals.

Why is anyone even mildly surprised by this; it’s what liberals do.
She’s using the shooting as part of a coming narrative to weaken Stand Your Ground laws. She’s hoping to stoke outrage against SYG, and the media will dutifully comply. These libs hope people will never notice that there’s a difference between a pyschopathic thug, who sprays bullets into a crowd . . . and the law-abiding homeowner who shoots the same thug when theyre attempting a car jacking or home invasion.
She believes in a "holistic" approach to eliminating crime.

Before the Eagles put the beat down on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl the city of KC had already told the Chiefs there wouldn't be another Super Bowl celebration at Union Station......they said the insurance liability was too high.

Chiefs are moving to kansas because Jackson county voters rejected a sales tax extension and didn't want to fund a new multi-billion dollar stadium when the one they were using was just fine. The new stadium in kansas will be mostly funded by taxpayers.
