Weekend rain + high humidity + record warmth + breezy conditions equals a pollen storm the next few days. Sorry in advance!

Gonna wake up and feel like someone poured concrete into my sinuses.

It was miserable in North La last weekend. Rustin sports complex has ponds full of pollen scum after the rain.

Driving south of shreveport on i49 yesterday i saw what looked to be smoke up ahead. When I got there it was the wind blowing plumes of pollen from the pine trees. Never seen that in my life

Yup. I been congested and hacking but getting better.

I thought rain was good for pollen control? Knocking it down and such.

I drove from Magnolia Ar to W Monroe today (through Bernice) and it looked like every truck I met was on a gravel road with the pollen cloud behind it. Wind blowing through a few pine trees and you could see waves of pollen flying. Worst I have ever seen for sure.
