Link to NYT which I believe has lifted its paywall for this -

Probably won't stand, but in her last MTG held the dem to 35% of the vote.

This 100% goes to a runoff.
A Dem will not win a R+19 district.

Didn’t Trump carry her district by like 40%?
yeah that’s def not going to hold.
Rs need to be given motivation to vote in the mid terms though. The save act could provide this, but Thune is cucking us.

I know folks are pissed at republicans but not voting or going third party just elects democrats
You don’t have to support/like/agree with/or care
But you need to go vote against democrats

The Republican's are too busy spending $90 million on getting Coryn reelected than worry about spending money on other races right now.

I agree with this.
Our system isn’t built in the same way as the UK parliamentary democracy where they could run a zero seats campaign against the torries in their last election.
Young men are very conservative, like actually conservative, so we just need more of these people to die or retire and primary where we can with strategy. Allowing the dems power again would be a full blown catastrophe

The problem is getting people to agree with this. Most won’t. Most will choose to stay home.

OP is misleading
It’s a jungle election with ten repubs and 1 dem
The dem is only winning because ten repubs are splitting the vote
It will go to runoff and repub will roll

Please don't misunderstand, I am not predicting that, not for a moment, this is a safe R district. I am just saying the D is doing better than anyone expected, all the coverage - even on the so called "liberal" TV networks was only about the Republicans and how this is a primary to determine "which two republicans will face off against each other. Of course I may have missed a report or two.

The Dem candidate is down to 38%

People with such a mindset always think they’re “teaching a person or a party a lesson” but most of these politicians don’t give a shite. If they happen to lose, they usually stay in the bubble anyway with their connections to lobbyists, etc.
I think half the GOP doesn’t even really want to lead the country into the future.

I agree with you.

44% reporting 38-34 Harris....Isn't he running uncontested on the Democratic side?
Posted on 3/10/26 at 7:49 pm to NytroBud
He has two minor not-that-serious opponents, but that does not matter, there is no "side" in this kind of so called "jungle" primary which can result in two Ds or two Rs in the runoff.
