How Iran is using cheap drones to cause chaos across the Middle East

And what happen once they use the last one they have ...are they going to build more? Seems like that might be a problem.

I think the concern is more significant that we have to use multi million dollar air defense missiles with extremely long manufacturing lead times to kill $1k chinese drones that they can get thousands of in a shipping container in a week from Mavic/China.
Im also very interested watching the online videos of Iranian missiles that appear to be programmed or controlled to evade our missiles. Definitely a plot twist and its interesting to see this and the odd WWI trench/drone/artillery war situation in Ukraine where neither side can operate in the open without being obliterated using cheap tech.

We're going to run out if multi-million dollar strike, intercept and defense missles long, long, long before they run out of $50K drones that they have been building for years and likely have Chinese and Russian stockpiles behind them.
Warfare has changed dramatically in the past 4 yrs and we are still acting like it's 2002.

I don’t think many would disagree that much of the Islamic Republic’s abilities to fight has indeed been obliterated.
I don’t think many should be necessarily shocked that the Islamic Republic would utilize any remaining means at its disposal to ultimately save itself.
The only thing that can ultimately preserve this authoritarian government is if American citizens get too weak-kneed and public opinion were to ultimately force a pulling back before the job could be completed.
It’s been what….about 10 days now.
The instant gratification and collective short attention span of modern society lends itself to immediate panic if something isn’t finished almost immediately.
Even the immense undertaking of removing an entrenched and not-weak authoritarian regime is evidently something that should have been completed after a day or two according to some things you read and hear.

Definitely.
Given that these particular drones are manufactured in Iran at $20,000 to $50,000 each, it begs the question of how many (and for how long) can a weakened Iran continue to produce them?
This is definitely a stategic and coordinated "nuisance issue". The Iranians hope to use these types of attacks as leverage to weaken the resolve of nearby Arab nations and their support of US/Israeli efforts. Of course, if they can cause even 1 US casualty, that will serve to fuel the propaganda efforts of those opposed to US/Israeli intervention.

Well and its also why we're hearing that we're talking to Ukraine about this because they basically solved for this in garages and caves out of necessity to avoid being blown up in their command centers in the Russian conflict.
It can be done, its just way to cost effective and pragmatic to be done by McDonnell Douglas or any of our MIC contractors.
