I’d like to know property tax trends of other counties or what was increased to account for it.
Seriously doubt the state made proper cuts to allow for that revenue to not be received

Nice to see the data center lobby doing work. 2010 data centers are nothing compared to what they’re building now.

There's no way any parish in Louisiana would do this.

They would find some way to spend it.
And then if the data center ever closed, they would claim poverty and raise rates faster than a gas station hearing conflict in the Middle East.

Even with a 38 percent decrease, their property tax rates will still be well above the national average. And their median home prices will still be insanely high.

The new governor will take care of that problem.

Yeah Louisiana gave a bunch of tax incentives and told them our residents can pay the utilities

70 - 80% of the world’s internet touches servers located in Ashburn which is located in Louden County. Very wealthy area.

Loudon County is the wealthiest county in America per household. They could only go but down. Lol

It’s not a state issue, right? This is about the local government.

How has the data center allowed this?
Also, that graph with electricity and water costs is more telling.

There's a few good people around, but for the very very vast majority this statement is accurate

Youngkin left VA with a surplus.
Watch the White Queen of AWFULs smoke that before the end of her first year as governor.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but could their property value have dropped and thus lowered their tax liability?

She has already started with her first proposal of new taxes. It is the definition of retarded
