I dislike McMahon as much as anyone. I was pissed at fat Scott for firing Wade.
With that said, these guys played their asses off all season despite being handicapped with losing your 2 best players ( losing 2 in basketball is a lot worse than any other sport). With an 8 man rotation this means you lose 40% of your starters and 25% of your rotation.

Reed is not one of 2 best players on team he is probably 4th or 5th. On a mid tier SEC team he would be 7th or 8th man on a Florida or Arky he would be 9th or 10th at best. A decent coach would have won 7-9 SEC games even with the injuries.Mcloser won 3 and was lucky to do that!

He finished in last place again,and the SEC. Wasn't as strong as it was last year. The guy cannot coach basketball,they should have at least won 8-9 games. Don't use the excuse that they lost there pt guard he played in 3 sec games they lost all 3. One of the losses was at home to a horrible miss.st. team that blew them out,FIRE him and move on he has absolutely single handly destroyed mens basketball at LSU! Get him the frick OUTTA HERE!!!

I can't blame the coach. We have one guy who is a half-way decent shooter and no one who can grab an offensive rebound. Sad to say, our guys just aren't very good, even though they try hard.

FWIW, no disputes that McMahon should be replaced.

I mean, did you watch the home games against bottom 5 teams SC, Miss. St. and Oklahoma? We got absolutely smoked and looked listless against all of those pathetic teams. We played hard in a number of games, but that ain't all season.
