What do you mean "outside of traction?" Like the parking lot, or like Gardere where they have shootings every day and it's just near Traction?

Directly across the parking lot on gardere

Everyone went scrambling and laying down by all the fields

No police cars or sirens any where nearby of course

If no one was hit, they are likely responding discretely so they can attempt to CATCH the responsible parties.

Law enforcement isn’t the problem in this country.

There is a substation nearby - I am sure they were close.

surrounding area has gotten marginally better from the early days. The immigrant influx has improved that area somewhat. More gunshots heard back when it first opened than in recent years. Managment has also done a yoeman's job keeping the parking lot safe over the years.

I don’t disagree with the possibility of this.

My point is when you hear gunfire or are asked to respond to the area to investigate, you usually would not announce your presence or respond with a loud arse siren.

The implication that law enforcement was not responding simply because of the lack of sirens is both flawed and insulting.

But I get it, everyone’s an expert.

correct having thrice been involved with games with gunshots at or near the venues(1998, 2016 and 2023) Responding units came in with flashing lights but silent. FWIW Orleans, EBR and Ascension parishes.

and we have pretty strict laws on that but - like : possesion of stolen, felon in possession and obliterated serial #s.... too little prosecution and sentencing.

One of my crew mates is out there waiting to hear from him.

You think they just magically appear one second after the shots?

Not only that someone would have to call and report it.

Dispatch doesn't monitor the OT.
